We rely on your consent as our lawful basis for sending you The Transmission newsletter and other educational content. You give this consent by ticking the opt-in box on our sign-up forms. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.

Legitimate interests

We may also rely on legitimate interests for processing necessary to operate and improve our service — for example, understanding how our content is used in order to make it more useful. Our legitimate interests are: providing free financial education to people who have actively sought it out, and improving that education based on how it is used.

Directly from you — when you sign up for The Transmission newsletter or unlock content on our site.

How long we keep information

We keep your email address and associated information for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list. If you unsubscribe, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. If you contact us with a query, we retain that correspondence for up to 12 months.
